HEY CPS... Sorry to hear about the problem you are experiencing with the SDX. It seems this is a common problem on all the x series models with the Floyd Rose special bridge. I had an SLX and an SLXQ, both had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM, and I got rid of both of them within a few months. My RRXT does not have this problem at all. Must be the dimensions of the necks. These necks feel a bit more narrow than any of the other Jacksons I've owned in the past, and the string spacing on the Floyd Rose really needs a wider neck. I'm disappointed to hear this model has the same issues, as I was really looking forward to getting my hands on one. I guess it's a good thing that they keep pushing the ship dates back to the authorized dealers here in the USA, otherwise, I'd probably have a thrid Jackson that I'd have to take a loss on by now. I stopped buying Jackson guitars several years ago because the higher end models were way overpriced, and the affordable ones were 100% garbage. I was really excited when this new X series line was introduced. But, after owning 3, and only getting one that was worth keeping, which was my RRXT, and that was only after spending another $150.00 replacing the pickups with real Seymour Duncans, I think I'll just stick to my Les Pauls and swear off buying a Jackson for another 10 years, until they get it right... maybe. If other people are buying these guitars, and finding themselves satisfied with them, well, I'm happy for them. But, I've bought three in the past year, to the tune of about $ 1,650.00, and, as far as I'm concerned, it was alot of good money wasted. I should have used it to buy a thrid Gibson, and had another guitar with zero issues. Anything with the Jackson name on it, other than the $2,000.00 USA models, is pretty much junk.
