i got this guitar at guitar center a few years ago, 2009/10 maybe, think it was used not sure, so it could be older. the serial number is: 9829159
i added the emgs, so the the original pickups were seymour duncans.
any help is much appreciated

That's an RR3, made in Japan.

After 1996 Jackson Japanese production guitars were issued serial numbers sequentially, I have one from 2000 that starts with 96 and, a 2003 that starts with 96, and a 2008 that starts with a 97.. After 1996, it's pretty much anybody's guess...
