I picked up a 1983 Rhoads Student, serial number RR0034! I know where it made, when it was made, and how rare of I find I have...but I sure would love to know what store sold it, and who they sold it to. At $1100.00 in 1983, somebody serious into playing must have bought it, and I have read many of the first Jackson Rhoads were spoken for before they were even made. The case is huge and heavy, a touring case no doubt...and it has original decals from events such as 1983s US Festival. It needs some resto work, but I would sure hate to touch it in anyway if somebody "famous" owned it. I would think somehow, someway, the serial number could be traced back to the original owner. Ideas???

Unfortunately, the archived log books were lost during one of the Jackson factory moves (not exactly clear which one). If I ever run across anything, I will post it here as soon as I find it..

The only archives I have found list only "J" serial numbers.. All Rhoads models were issued "RR" serial numbers in this time period, and I have not found anything with the "RR" serial logs as of yet.. Will keep on it, though..
