I ordered a Warrior WRMG (the 2008 model with EMG's) from probably the best online seller in my country
The whole transaction has been delayed because it was the last unit in stock, and guess what? surprise! it was the showroom unit, so it's scratched. So, in exchange, they offered to pay for the shipping, in adittion of some free stuff, since getting a new one is impossible because the importation is closed (thanks, goverment) . I have NOT yet payed for the product. At the moment, I'm waiting for a couple of pictures from the guitar to determine wether it is a good deal or not.
The thing is, I just found out that this model is discontinued... right?
It's weird, I ordered the same guitar from this very same shop about 2 months ago, but they were out of stock. So, that means they've been replenishing stock recently. How did they manage to do that if the model is discontinued?
So here's the whole point of this thread:

I'm affraid I might be about to buy a refurbished guitar, could you guys please tell me if I'm assuming right?

It's 7.000 AR$, which is about 1428 Dollars (keep in mind there's import fees and what not)
It comes with a 6 month warranty. I have yet to ask if it is an official one or not

Yes, the WRMG is discontinued as of 2010. Odds are it is a restock or something similar (It is not uncommon for dealers to wind up with stock from other dealers that have gone out of business). If it is refurbished, it will be stamped "USED" on the back of the headstock and issued a new serial number. You will need to find out if the warranty is from Jackson or your dealer as well.

Ask the dealer for detailed pictures (tip of headstock, back of headstock, neck plate, and any damages).
