So I have a friend trying to sell me his Jackson guitar but doesn't know squat about it aside from that it's a Japanese model and the only numbers he can find on it are #9702650.
Looks cool and I will be playing it around 5pm today and possibly purchasing it for $300.
He says this is the newer model.

And claims its a king v but kinda looks like its a Rhodes to me.
He said he got it in '07 and that it was roughly $900 but got a deal.
It had Seymour Duncan's, Floyd rose and whammy, and it's orange burst.
I'm using my phone so I'm having difficulty uploading a picture but can send one.

I made the album public on profile on Facebook hopefully it works.
Let me know what you guys think. And what it's worth.
If the mobile link doesn't work I just tested the link logged out and was able to view it. My names Evan baehner on facebook and it should be the only accessible image. It's under Jackson. Thanks again!!

That is an RX10D, and the serial number indicates it was made in Japan. Definitely the classic Rhoads shape, and a nice top on that one, too..

I have a Jackson DK2M Inferno Red serial# 9784xxx So I take it that is a Japan model too.. It has hardly been used. They guy I got it from gigged it like 4 or 5 times but found it wasn't suited to his picking style. So he put it up for years. Neck is straight as a board no issues other then I wasn't used to the string bending fallin short of the pitch.. I been playing a LP for way to long..

This guitar is what I been looking for in the ways of:
Lighter Weight
Seymour Duncan Pickups Matched
Electronics that are dead nut accurate
Very fast neck Jumbo Frets
Floyd Rose that allows me Dives.

:geek:
