I was hoping they'd make an X series version like they did with Adrian Smiths signature model, although Iron Maiden are a much larger band than Trivium, so maybe they can't justify having 2 versions of the same guitar?
It's funny because Matt Heafy (the other guitarist, and singer in Trivium) has just had a new Epiphone signature guitar made for him, and he was adamant to have it made under the Epiphone name, rather than Gibson. That way it wouldn't cost a ridiculous amount of money, so most of his fans would be able to get hold of the exact guitar he uses live and in the studio. I was thinking - as soon as I saw Corey's signature listed under "USA Select" - clearly, that wasn't something that Jackson/Corey considered when making this guitar

Shame because I've been looking for 7 string I like for quite some time, as there are a ton of 7 string songs I want to learn (Trivium included), and this is the second one I've found that I'd really like, the other being Gibson's Explorer 7 string, which is also quite expensive and also discontinued

. Hopefully, there is a Corey X/Pro series Signature on the horizon!

I am considering saving for this.....just might take a while
