whoops, we have the wrong photo in the RRXT slot; thanks..we'll fix this ASAP.

Regarding the differences between the RRXT & the RR24XT; the biggest, is the number of frets and the colors. the RR24XT is..yeah, 24 frets (think modern, ala Alexi) while the RRXT is 22 frets; think "classic". (ala Randy Rhoads, or Kirk H)
While you can't quite see this on the site, (yet!)..the RRXT is available in: Black, Kawasabi Green with black bevels, and in Transparent Black, with a flame maple top.

the RR24XT, will be available in black, Quicksilver with black bevels and Black with Kawasabi green bevels.

..with regards to the DXMG. The DKX (T) is essentially the same platform. Our current DKXT is equipped with EMG HZ's, but it's a safe bet that more variants of the DKX platform will reveal itself over the next several months. ;)

stay tuned...

It looks like some of the X-Series guitars are on guitar center's website!

Yeah I hope a Japanese reverse headstock, non archtop dinky gets produced again other than the DX10d. The headstock, neck binding and all black hardware were the selling points for the DXMG. It was just a sharp looking guitar.

Or better yet, how about an X Series Reversed headstock Soloist? I'm sure alot of folks would dig that one.

+1
This is what many of us were waiting for without going through the Custom Shop route, if it happens it'll be an awesome addition for sure. :D

I'd be interested in the X series if they weren't all basswood. What happened to the Jackson standard of alder? way better tone wood.

I agree with you. I would be a bit more sold on the new X series if they had either Alder or Mahogany. Those both have way better tone and better sustain. Especially Mahogany. I love all the specs of these new Axes but the Basswood body is the only thing I'm kinda iffy about. I have a Basswood body Jackson right now (From the old X series) and the sustain isn't great. It cuts out after 2 seconds of holding a note.

I will have no doubt that the new X series will be killer. I was so stoked that they came out with it but I see other companies with guitars that are about the same pirce with Mahogany and Alder bodies. I'm not saying Basswood completely blows but the sustain is a bit weaker than other woods. I actually haven't but I would be willing to try. I'm more of a Seymour Duncan guy though.
