The input jack doesn't bother me, my RR3 has it in the same spot as the wiring wouldn't reach & I was too impatient to wait til I got more
I built the RR3 & red Dinky, very happy with them too. The Dinky is just a DK2 neck & DK2M body.
Not sure I could deal with the jack in that location, I would probably break a lot of tips off of my cords.. I figured the Dinky was a hybrid (2 hum Inferno Red was not an option for the rosewood board), and the RR3 always had the jack in the upper wing..
