Hi,
I am the owner of a KV2 King V USA Select with a bolted steel paintjob; Is it possible in any way to send the guitar to Jackson in order to change the paintjob or there is no way that this is happening? The paint quality is outstanding and I would like to achieve the same level rather than taking it to a random instrument painter...

My guess is anyone will do anything, but for how much. They will probably want a pretty penny but I would send in a email or call them up!

Have you thought of selling your guitar first or trading it for another KV2 of your choice, I'm sure a few collectors would like to get your guitar if it's in a decent condition...

Also, you could try sending your guitar to Mike Learn for a new paint job, he's one of the best in the business, and he did a lot of awesome work for Jackson's Custom Shop:

The guitar is brand new no scratches or chips or anything at all...2009 edition. The only thing I did was to switch to EMG's from Seymour Duncans... The thing is I didn't get to choose the paintjob. When I went to the dealer he called to Jackson and they had this guitar ready so I didn't get to wait for 9 months to build it from scratch. I was thinking that I would take it to a painter and he would change the color... But when I presented the guitar to two or three guys they didn't even want to repaint it telling me that there is no way they could match the paintjob...Thats why I wanna send it overseas...
