They've made the centre section up to body thickness with another piece of wood for ages. I gotta say I didn't know the bit behind the floyd was another piece of wood though.

That all looks like solid wood though, not ply.

Yeah that is basically what ALL neck thru guitars look like after you put the heat gun to them...

The bit behind the Floyd is actually still part of the same piece of wood used to place the neck in, it is separated in the process of routing, this happens to all neck thru guitars.

Having three neck thru guitars in my possession that have a transparent finish, this is true for ALL of them...

Quit trolling jackass that is Alder and Maple, NOT plywood.

This.moron has already been put in his place at jcf online. Hes just an idiot with nothing to do. Except troll

Can't even figure out what wood he's looking at. The vaneer is to cover all the jointing from a neckthru guitar. Ply wood (multi layered wood) looks nothing like alder.

There is also wood dowels to cover screw holes after its been glued. Try taking apart a gibson next! There you'll be surprised. Lol
