 Post subject: sls3-thrash metal?

Im probably going to get an sls3-with stock SD's pickups.will this guitar/pickup config. be enough for thrash?atm,i play an ltd with emg's.i use a boss me70 and a crappy marshall mg10 (might swap it to something better soon).

Personally, i would say get a nice tube amp first because then you could have a nice metal tone overall. then sell the ltd and get a jackson because they are way better dude! but the ltd with emg's would do great for that, personally i think seymour duncan's are the way to go because they are very organic pickups but still have nice punch to them.

thanks for the answer.yeah,im going to keep my ltd for drop tunnings (c,b).and im getting the jackson anyway,i dont think im selling the ltd.and yeah im going to get a decent amp,im just working out which...theres not many tube amps where i live :cry:

there you go dude. one of the most affordable tube amps you can get is a peavey valveking and that thing rips dude! i strongly recommend that, it is a good practice and performance head if you want sweet metal. i also play thrashy kind of stuff and i use peavey and jackson all the way man, it's the way to go!
