Hi all,

This is my first post here. I own a black Jackson PS-4 (the oldest working guitar I have) and a white Jackson RR24, awesome guitars.

A while ago I was doing some 3d guitar models for fun and I between all the existing models I decided to try and come up with something different. This is what I came up with:
Image

I modeled this one as a bolt on because I was actually thinking of building the body and using the neck of my PS-4, but I just don't have the time, tools or workspace required to build it. Maybe some day. I'm just posting it because, after more than a year since I looked at this image, I still like it, and felt like sharing. :D

thats pretty frickin sweet dude. kinda looks like a dbz bird of prey without the big nasty headstock. you could serve a sushi roll on one of those headstocks.

That's some great work you did there. Not a huge fan of the shape, plus the first thought that enters my mind when i see that is - neck dive

Thanks. I don't really see why, it might depend on the strap button location, because as far as I remember, I used the dimensions of a regular King V. It's a mix of some elements of a King V and a Kelly, and I though that curve at the bottom might be quite comfortable for playing sitting down (with the bottom wing between your legs, of course).

Hi ! Excellent job ! Can you make an asymmetric v (rhoads) vesrion of the above guitar ?
BTW, which software did you use for making this one ?

I think I made the asymmetrical version first (nevermind the ESP headstock):

And a 'pimped' version:

The software I use is Lightwave3D.

I made a huge collection of every part of a guitar, so that I could just turn on and off each layer and basically be able to choose any combination of headstocks, bridges, everything.

If someone here is proficient in flash or something like that, I'd be willing to help out with these models. I don't do it because I just don't have the time.

Wow, is pretty cool looking. It kind of reminds me of a Westone Dynasty....a little anyway. I do like the rendering, to be honest, it isn't really my style, but it still looks way cool!!!
