I bought a Soloist recently and the thing plays like butter, So smooth! If there is one thing I would change, it would be to get more tonal variety from it. I also own an Ibanez RG3120 ( it has 2 humbuckers) and one of the things I love about that guitar is the 5 position pickup switch, which allows me to get single coil tones as well as out-of-phase tones (very Strat-like). I'd like to be able to do something similar with the Jackson. Question is: what would be the best way to do this? Push/Pull knobs? Coil tap switches? Any other suggestions?
Thanks...

What pickup configuration does your Soloist have?

OK, you should be able to split both of those. Bring the guitar to a local tech and tell them what you want. It should be possible without any new parts as long as you have a 5 pos switch already...

Cool! I don't have a 5 way switch yet, but it's not a problem.
