Wayne Lozinak

Hatebreed

Wayne Lozinak (born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA) is the lead guitarist of the hardcore/metal band Hatebreed. He was part of the original line-up when the band formed in 1994. He appeared on the first Ep, Under The Knife, as well as the original recordings of Mark My Words (Together As One comp.) and Prepare For War (Stones To Mark A Fire comp.). Not wanting to tour full time, the band found a replacement for Wayne in December 1995. A few line-up changes later, he was back in the band August of '96 and played until April of '97.

In 2006, bassist Chris Beattie mentioned to Wayne that he needed a tech, and asked if he'd be interested. He took Chris up on the offer and became their guitar and bass tech. In January 2009, Sean Martin left Hatebreed and Wayne rejoined the band. They had been working on a CD of cover songs, and needed 4 more songs before it was complete. Wayne went into the studio, and finished up what was to be For The Lions. Songs he appeared on were, Ghosts Of War (Slayer), Thirsty And Miserable (Black Flag), Suicidal Maniac (Suicidal Tendencies) and Supertouch/shitfit (Bad Brains) He also appears on the Hatebreed self-titled CD, released September 2009
