CHRISTIAN ANDREU / GOJIRA

French metal act Gojira blends thrash and progressive elements to create a groove metal sound like no other. The quartet gracefully swings between quaking and quivering guitars, mind-bending percussion, chillingly elegant melodies, and cosmic atmospherics. A band has always dealt in extremes, uncovering light in darkness and finding beauty in heaviness, and with each release, they seek to further expand the sonic palette.

The Dragon

Christian decorated his Jackson signature models with a dragon for a few different reasons. He's a dragon in the Chinese calendar, the dragon caricature was one that singer Joe Duplaniter had sketched at the start of the band, and becuase he believes it personifies his instrument. "The guitar is aggressive and powerful like a dragon," said Christian.
