About Greg:

Gregory Cerwonka is the lead guitarist of Take Offense (Chula Vista, CA) and Rod of Correction (San Diego, CA). His love of music started at a young age. As an infant, he would rock out in his car seat when his parents played music (especially Edgar Winter’s “Frankenstein”). He first picked up a guitar in middle school when a friend invited him to be in a band. While the band was short lived his interest in guitar only grew. In high school, he joined Take Offense as lead guitarist not knowing the band would lead him to 3 full-length records, and tours through out the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Cerwonka has also been a touring guitarist of Los Angeles hardcore band Terror and Baltimore-based Turnstile.

My first real guitar was a Jackson DKMG. I remember being drawn to it at the shop because of those classic shark fin inlays. It just had attitude, plain and simple. Ever since then, I’ve always had a Jackson on stage because as they say… "It's in my blood."
