Three-Piece Maple Graphite Reinforced Neck-Through-Body Design
True neck-through-body construction has been a Jackson hallmark since 1980, allowing for greater playability and sustain. The neck-through design is a method of guitar construction which involves extending the three pieces of maple used for the neck through the entire length of the body for added strength. Graphite reinforcement rods flanking the truss rod provide even more neck stability to help the instrument withstand the rigors of the road.

Customized to fit Thomson’s slaughtering riffs in dropped tunings, this signature Blackouts set is designed to handle extremes in tone. The bridge accentuates deep, chunky palm-muted styles, while the neck pickup cleans up extremely well for crystal clear tones that get more aggressive with increased gain.
