The Pro Series SIgnature Chris Beattie Concert™ Bass features an alder body, through-body maple neck, 12"-16" compound radius dark rosewood fingerboard with pearloid sharkfin inlays, blistering EMG HZ pickups with an active three-band EQ and a Jackson HiMass™ bridge.
Offered in a stately Snow White finish, the Pro Chris Beattie Concert Bass also features a unique 2x2 headstock and all-brooding black hardware.
EMG® 35HZ Pickups (Active Three-Band EQ)
The EMG 35HZ is a modern passive bass pickup featuring a dual-coil humbucking design for low noise and plenty of output. Its ceramic magnets produce very pronounced and focused mids, as well as a fast and quick bass response. The strength of the magnets allows the pickup to retain articulation and clarity, even when introduced to extreme gain, which makes for a great choice for fast-paced metal. An active three-band EQ provides separate active controls for bass, mids and treble.

12"-16" Compound Radius Rosewood Fingerboard
Jackson pioneered the use of the innovative 12"-16" compound radius design, in which the fingerboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut. This makes for comfortable and natural-feeling chording and riffing near the nut, with optimal shred articulation and bending nearer the heel.
