The American Series Soloist is radically engineered for innovation and speed—a breakthrough in high-performance guitar-making from the brand that started it all. Every aspect of the Soloist points forward and moves fast, from the legendary Speed Neck™ with rock-solid thru-neck construction and smooth rolled edges to the angular design and hot-rodded tone. The American Series Soloist gives today’s heavy players everything they need to push their craft further.

The Next Chapter of Jackson Guitars

Born in Southern California in 1980, Jackson was the first brand to embrace the needs of hard rock and metal virtuosos by providing instruments with feature sets that catered to high-velocity playing.

Jackson has continued to revolutionize its high-performance craft over the last 40 years, while dominating the metal landscape as the industry’s leading shred machines. The all-new Jackson American Series is the next chapter in Jackson’s storied legacy, marking the first made-in-Corona flagship product line for the brand.

Equipped with all the essential attributes, the American Series Soloist™ SL3 leads the way in establishing a new standard in the premium high-performance category as it inspires players across the globe.

Designed with our trademark metal style, the American Series Soloist SL3 comes in striking Gloss Black, Platinum Pearl, Riviera Blue or Satin Slime Green finishes with color matched Jackson pointy headstocks and black hardware.

High-speed demands high performance. American Series Soloist guitars are packed with player-focused features like Luminlay side dots that help you navigate the fretboard–even on the darkest stages. Gotoh® MG-T Locking Tuners provide an extra layer of tuning stability and make restringing a breeze. The heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick access to set your neck relief—meaning your Soloist is always optimized for speed and precision.

Thru-Neck construction—the defining feature of a Jackson Soloist—is the backbone of this guitar. A three-piece maple neck runs the length of the instrument and is reinforced with a pair of graphite rods for rock-solid stability. This maximum connection between the neck and body provides increased sustain and a warmer, full-body sound across the tonal spectrum.

Starting with our Speed Neck™ profile from beloved classic Jackson Soloists—we’ve suped up the profile to include masterfully rolled edges for maximum comfort. Complementing this profile is a compound radius that goes from 12” at the nut to 16” at the 12th fret for screaming bends and intricate finger work as you move up the neck.
